How do we get started?

Just give give us a call and one of our professionals will come out to give you your Free Personalized Estimate. If you accept the proposal just mail in the signed contract and you are on your way.

Is a deposit required?

No, only in rare cases are deposits may be requested. Payment for contracted work is due in full upon completion of project. We only except checks, bank checks, or cash. No Visa or Master Card

What about permits?

Permits are the property owners responsibility. Most paving projects require permits (except for sealcoating).

Permits can be obtained at your village hall for a small fee. You usually will need your plat of survey, and a copy of the contract.

How should I care for my new asphalt?

After the asphalt is down you may walk over it in a few hours and no motor traffic for 3-5 days. Rain or water will not hurt the new asphalt.

If there is no brick or concrete edging then dirt must be used to backfill the edges for support.

Asphalt needs about 90 days of curing time before sealcoating. This time allows the asphalt to harden and lets the oils come out. Your new asphalt will stay soft and pliable for about a year, especially in the hot summer months.

Is sealcoating included in the contract price

No, not unless requested. Sealcoating is a separate process that is done about 3 months from installation. A price for sealcoating is given to our customers when the paving project is completed.

Is Sealcoating necessary?

YES! Asphalt is a porous material that will allow the outside elements deteriorate it unless it is protected.

How often should I seal my asphalt?

We recommend sealing new asphalt about 90 days after being installed. ( Weather permitting ) Then sealcoat again the following year. After that you can go every other year, depending on how much use it gets.

Can I sealcoat the asphalt myself?

Yes. You can get decent products at your favorite hardware store, but first weigh the pros and cons.
